Have you read my story/nightmare about my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero repairs?

A brief summary: My 2002 Oldsmobile Alero had begun overheating. I had taken it to Tanner's Repair & Towing in Elroy, Wisconsin in October 2014. He replaced the intake gasket and thermostat. It still was overheating so Tanner came over behind my apartment building where we park and put in a new waterpump. He took it for a drive. It still was overheating so he mentioned the head gaskets. Tanner at that time said that he would come over to tow my car to his business. I called him a couple times a week getting no answer and not having my calls returned. Once in the month that I had been calling twice a week he did answer and said that he had been meaning to come over to get my car. Did not set a specific time to do this and did not hear from him again. I had spoke to someone at Superior Automotive in Tomah, Wisconsin and they said $1500 to $2000 for head gaskets. I ended up going to Central Union Autos in Union Center, Wisconsin. I won't go into detail how that came to be but it happened and so the real story/nightmare began. You can find the rest of this story below starting with week 1. As I write this it is Thursday, June 4th, 2015 and my car, after being at Central Union Autos since April 30th, 2015, is still there as they try to figure out what to do about it overheating.

If you'd like to donate to help me pay for the cost of repairing my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero you may do so above through PayPal.com.

The repairs so far have came to $2,791.76, though a caliper broke after Central Union Autos had all ready billed me. The owner, Doug Pattridge, had said that he would get the cost of that from me when I came back at a later date for the struts to be repaired. I had asked him what the cost of the caliper was. He said $79.99 plus $4.99 for tax. I told him that I had $80 left in cash and that I also could dip into my laundry money so I have $85 waiting for him once the car is finally repaired. If you read my story the radiator hoses, thermostat and oh yes lets not forget clamps as the owner of Central Union Autos added as I was naming things off that had been replaced since the caliper broke. Should I owe for that? I feel I should. It's unexpected costs but I feel that I should pay for any unexpected costs too. Maybe I'm wrong.

How I feel about my car. A scene from the movie Animal House:

"You can't spend your whole life worrying about your mistakes. You F'ed up. You trusted us."

"My advice to you is to start drinking heavily."

"Better listen to him Flounder, he's in pre-med."
