This is my story/nightmare about my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero repairs.

My car has been in for repairs since April 30th, 2015.

Friday, May 8th, 2015 at 3:37 p.m Doug Pattridge called me from his personal cell phone. He said something about air pockets and dirty antifreeze plugging one of the ports. Something else was said about lines primed. At one point he said the waterpumps working then not working. I questioned this saying the waterpumps not working? He then said no the waterpumps working. He went on to say that he was bringing the car back to me and that I should drive it around a bit over the weekend but that if it starts to overheat that I should pull over to let it cool off and to call him at his personal cell phone. Doug said that he was leaving to bring the car back to me and that he would call me when he was closer to Kendall where I live and that I could then tell him where I live.

At 4:42 p.m. still on Friday, May 8th, 2015, I received another call from Doug telling me that the car overheated just as he got to the Welcome to Kendall sign and that he would need to call his shop and have someone come to tow it back to his shop. He would need to work on it more and I would hear from him Monday, May 11th.

Monday, May 11th, 2015 at 1:01 p.m. I called Central Union Autos. Doug Pattridge answered. There was a problem with his workers. They had not arrived that day to work so nothing was being done on my car. Doug mentioned to me that his worker Ron thought there may be a problem with the waterpump. Doug asked me to contact Tanner's Repair and Towing, who had replaced the waterpump in October 2014, to see if there was a warranty on it. At 1:10 p.m. I called Tanner and left a message. I also left a message through Tanner's Facebook page.

At 5:11 p.m. still on Monday, May 11th, 2015, I called Central Union Autos again and spoke to Doug. His worker(s) still had not come in and nothing had been worked on on my car. Doug proceeded to explain about his worker(s) playing hooky and that he found this out by tracking down and talking to the one workers girlfriend. He told me that she had told him that the worker (Ron) had been fishing when on one occasion he was supposedly at the hospital, in a boat that Doug had loaned Ron. He then had spoke to this or these workers in which they had said something about that they could make more money working at McDonalds. Doug then told me that he had told them that when he got a car or cars sold that he would then pay them or him. I'm not sure how many workers Doug had. I say had as at this time he now has no mechanics and had informed me that he was not a mechanic. Should I have to be brought into this drama? There was more talk about the waterpump and Tanner who had replaced the waterpump in October. Nothing came of this conversation with Doug except that I would hear from him Tuesday, May 12th, 2015.

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 Spoke to Doug 5 times today. At one conversation he had mentioned that his brother in law and sister were there with there 1 week old baby. His brother in law thought it was the thermostat. He also mentioned that his brother in law may come to work for him. Ron who had been working for him was no longer employed with him Doug said. Doug also is trying to get the shop in order for the grand opening he is having Friday and Saturday, May 15th and 16th and has said that he will come over to get me for it. He sounds sincere in feeling bad that he has not finished work on my car.

Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 I spoke to Doug again finally at 9:37 p.m. with Doug calling me. He was at the shop late doing some last minute painting and other things to ready the place for the grand opening. He said he had done some research on Oldmosbile Alero's and air pockets which he found that he needs an airlift to remove the air pockets that he now thinks is why my car is still overheating. He will be getting this airlift from Cornwall or Cornwell. Doug did not say when he would be getting that.

Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at 10:47 a.m. I called Doug to find out when he would be getting the airlift. He didn't seem to know. We then spoke about his coming over to get me to come to his grand opening. I said it would be nice to get out as I haven't been anywhere except Elroy, Wisconsin 6 miles from me at the first of the month to grocery shop.

At 7:29 p.m., still on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 I called Doug to tell him that I could not make it to his grand opening as I was going to Beloit, WI with my sister. Well we are going to Beloit, WI but the day after his grand opening. Truth be I did not want to be stuck over there waiting for him to bring me back to my place. I just want my car to be repaired.
