This is my story/nightmare about my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero repairs.

Central Union Autos owner, Doug Pattridge, is now on a hunger strike.

My car has been in for repairs since April 30th, 2015.

Tuesday, June 9th, 2015, At 5:19 p.m. I called Central Union Autos. Doug Pattridge the owner answered. I asked how things were going. He told me that he went to Carquest in Reedsburg, WI. where some guy had showed him some stuff to clean coolant systems. The guy had used it on a Ranchero that was clogged. Doug said this stuff was $12 something where the stuff he was going to use on my car from Farm N Fleet was $3 something. He said you get what you pay for. I agreed but only sometimes you can't go by that I said.

Doug then told me that he is waiting for a lady from Minnesota to come buy a Geo Metro that he has. He said he was happy for that. That it will be money for his business that he needs to not go out of business. He also is waiting for some guy from Milwaukee to come buy a Ranchero he has on the lot.

Ok so then he tells me that he is going to have another mechanic flush the system on my car tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10th, 2015. Perhaps the mechanic that he had has gone AWOL again. Doug then says that he will also be replacing the waterpump. He says that is the only last things that he can think of to do. He seems to have forgotten that he had mentioned replacing the radiator too.

Doug then gets a bit more personal and starts explaining to me that he has not eaten in 45 hours. That he doesn't plan on eating until he fixes my car or was it until he sells the Geo Metro? He confused me a bit with what he was saying. He said something about by the time he sells the Geo Metro that it will be 48 hours since he has eaten. Doug Pattridge then tells me that he is going to get this car of mine repaired. That he is dedicated to proving everyone wrong that has been telling me that I am being scammed. I've told him that I have spoke to people and that they each have told me how I should handle this that he hasn't repaired my car yet. Hmmm. We'll see.

Lesson learned: Do not take your car to be repaired to a business that is just starting up.
